Server Rules

The following is a list of the rules and punishments currently active and applicable within SL-RP. It is the responsibility of all players to be aware of these and abide by them; the excuse, "I didn't know." is not acceptable.

IC (In Character) Abuse: (all punishments come with a warn, 3-warns = a tempban. 3-tempban's = permanent ban that must be appealed)
Deathmatching (DM) / Revenge killing (RK) / Kill On Sight (KOS) / Car Ramming / Car Parking - 20 minutes prison
Deathmatching (DM) / Revenge killing (RK) / Kill On sight (KOS) / Car Ramming / Car Parking / Car Jacking On Duty Admin - 25 minutes prison
Scamming over $10K - 15 minutes prison and fine of 2x amount scammed
Scamming over $25K - /ban and fine of 2x amount scammed
OOC / MG / Non-RP Use of /contract - Fine of 2x amount contracted
Metagaming (MG) / Powergaming (PG) - /kick
Spam (speech, /me, cellphones, ads, etc.) - /kick
Cop-Baiting - /kick (Expanded to include misuse of 911.)
Non-RP Name - Imprisoned until you choose a new name
Non-RP Behavior (Any actions considered to be Non-RP, from not showing fear, to doing anything someone would attempt not to do in real life.) - 15 minutes prison
Releasing Name of Hitman - 40 minutes prison and 20% money fine of no less than 10K
Car Surfing - /slap (/kick if repeated with a warn upon being kicked)
Avoiding IC consequences (arrest, death, etc.) (logging, tabbing, etc.) - 25 minutes prison and a 10% money fine of no less than 1K
Breaking The 30 Min Rule - 20-minutes prison

OOC (Out of Character) Abuse:
Channel spam (/n, /vip, etc.) - Mute. 5-mutes = Un-appealable Warn.
Channel spam (/n, /vip, & logging) - Un-appealable Warn and 10-minutes in prison.
Escaping From Admin Prison - /ban
Lying to admin - 30 minutes prison and 20% money fine of no less than 5K
Abuse of /report - /report mute. 3-mutes = Warn.
Abuse of /ask - banned from using /ask
Money-Farming - money reset, vehicles deleted, house removed, /kick
Advertising other servers - /ban
Harassing Another Player OOCly (Racism / Overly Vulgar / Insulting) - /warn
Extreme Role Play (Such as rape or graphic torture without OOC consent of all parties) - /ban
Non-RP Stashes - 20-minutes in prison, a warn, and a fine of 10% of your money for no less then $1000.

Server abuse
Creating/duplicating money/weapons/etc. via hacks/exploits/etc. - /ban
Knowingly taking money/weapons/etc. that were obtained via hacks/exploits/etc. and not immediately reporting it to admin - /ban
Selling an account that has admin privs / faction leader - /ban
Knowingly not reporting someone who is ban evading - /ban
Knowingly not reporting someone who is hacking - /ban
Disrupting or interfering with routine operation of server - / ban
3rd party programs that provide an unfair advantage (health hacks, TP hacks, auto walk scripts ) - /ban
Knowingly creating a new account to avoid warns and tempbans - /ban
